Network Installation Instructions

RPM Mobile Home Rating can be installed on a shared network drive and accessed by everyone on the network.  Network installation provides a central location for storing information.

Installing the program:

Note:  Install the program from a workstation -- not the server.  Doing this will ensure that you install RPM Mobile Home Rating on a shared network drive.

  1. On the Setup screen, click on RPM Mobile Home Rating.

  2. Read the License Agreement.  If you accept the agreement, click I Accept to continue.

  3. Read the Welcome screen.  To continue, click the Next button.

  4. Click the Browse button and select a network destination drive that can be accessed by everyone who needs to run the program. The update will be installed on the selected drive in the RPM folder.  

  1. Click Next to continue.

  2. Click Next again to begin the installation.

  1. Follow the prompts on the screen to complete the installation process.  

  1. When installation is complete, click Finish.  

  2. Open RPM Mobile Home Rating to make sure it is installed properly.  

  3. Exit RPM Mobile Home Rating.

  4. Proceed to the next section to install RPM Mobile Home Rating on each remaining workstation.

 

Installing RPM Mobile Home Rating on each workstation:

  1. From the Start menu, select Run.

  1. Click the Browse button and find the network drive on which RPM Mobile Home Rating is installed.

  2. Double-click on the RPM folder.

  3. Double-click on the Client folder.

  4. Finally, double-click on setup.exe.  

  5. Verify that the command line in the Open field is x:\RPM\Client\Setup.exe and and click OK. (x: is used to represent the network drive on which RPM Mobile Home Rating is installed.)

  6. Follow the prompts on your screen to complete the installation process.

  7. When the installation is complete, a new RPM Mobile Home Rating shortcut will have been added to the workstation desktop. Test the shortcut to make sure it is working.

  8. Exit RPM Mobile Home Rating.

  9. Repeat Steps 1 through 9 at each remaining workstation.

You have completed RPM Mobile Home Rating network installation.  

 

 

Single-User Installation Instructions

Installing the program on a single, non-networked PC:

  1. On the Setup screen, click on RPM Mobile Home Rating.

  2. Read the License Agreement.  If you accept the agreement, click I Accept to continue.

  3. Read the Welcome screen.  To continue, click the Next button.

  4. By default, the program will be installed in the c:\RPM folder.  If you have more than one local drive on your computer and you want to install the program on a drive different from the default drive shown, click the Browse button to select a different destination.

  1. Click Next to continue.

  2. Click Next again to begin the installation.

  3. Follow the prompts on the screen to complete the installation process.  

  1. When installation is complete, click Finish.  

  2. Open RPM Mobile Home Rating.

You have completed RPM Mobile Home Rating single user installation.
